97 Taurus Dome light won't come on when door opens.

The dome light works inthe on position but not in the door position. I have had all my fuses checked and they are good. What else can be the problem and how do I fix it?

taurus get gummed up on the doors, usually its lights that stay on all the time, you case is the opposite, wd-40 the door catches were sensors are and it should start working.. if this is the problem you'll notice the door ajar light isnt working either.
