heat and air only workon high

I just got a 2001 Durango and the heat and air will only work on high, meaning it will either be real cold or real warm in the vehcle if I want to use the heat or air. Any ideas on what the problem is. Also my seat belt light only comes on for about 10 seconds then goes off, even if I haven't put on my belt. Thanks for any input.

Follow this link and it will give you all the information you need to replace that part yourself. The dealer part runs around $13-$16. Total time to fix is about 10-15 minutes.
