325E vs 325
I seem to find a lot of parts for a 325E but doe’s not show the 325 what is the different if any.

The 325e is 2.7L and the 325 is 2.5L. The e stands for eta which is is a low reving high torque motor. I believe the 325 is much more similar to the 325i.

also note that except for some common externals, the engine parts are NOT interchangable...........

But the title and car show to have a 2.7l engine and only says 325 model#32E thats what i cant understand

ok, try this way no matter what anything else sez. If the idle valve is above the valve cover and the cold start valve bolts to the little housing above the center of the valve cover, you have an 'e' motor [ 2.7 liter M20, DME 1.0].......Idle valve in the intake boot & NO cold start valve, you have an 'i' motor [ 2.5 liter M20, DME 1.1> ].
