Angry Transmission Problems

Not even 5000km ago I had my 5spd tranny rebuilt. Since the rebuild, I have had it towed into the shop twice for the same problem.
What happening is there is a spring of sorts that put everything into neutral and that spring is jamming up. The car is stuch in two gears when this happens, put it in neutral and let out the clutch---go forward, put into reverse let out clutch----go forward.
Any ideas of what could be the problem?
The tranny guy says that it could be some pins that are worn out, wouldn't that be done on the rebuild?
I really don't trust the guy anymore.

Re: Transmission Problems

I guess you should treat this problem like a cancer diagnosis, go get that second opinion, maybe even a third opinion as well. While your there talk about a gearing upgrade, I believe Mantapart has performance gearing.

Re: Transmission Problems

Where is Mantapart.
Do they have a web site?
I live in Medicine Hat Alberta.
I also talked to GM guys and they are stumped too.
I have 3 94 gears now, why change?

Re: Transmission Problems

Handy sites, but freight will not be too cheap. I live in Canada.
Thanks for the help.
