95 Avalon ABS Warning light

I have a 95 Avalon, the ABS warning light came on and stayed on. In checking I found a broken CV boot that was right above the ABS connection on the passenger front side. I concluded that was the cause and fixed them. The warning light is still on and I have no idea how to reset the light. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

Re: 95 Avalon ABS Warning light

Try disconnecting the battery for five minutes, this gives the car proper time to loose all power, resetting the ECM. Once you've done this, the codes will be cleared off the computer and the light should stay off if you've fixed the problem. If it comes back on, I recommend taking it to either a dealer, or a certified shop.

You need to get the light reset by the dealer.
