finishing off that integra

so, for all who rememeber that kid that talked mad smack about my car, i pulled up next to him at a stop light tonihgt. just a stupid little teg, with a fart can exhust, and new headers, and some stickers. any way, we broke out, and i really dumped on him...as expected, but at about 80 and 3 car lengths, i shutdown, cuz i missed 5th, then i tryed to to go to sixth and grinded reverse cuz i was 2 far over...i know its stupid, but ive never raced b4.....anyway......i smellled this bad smell for the a while tonight, kinda like burning piss.....idk.....anyway..thats my story on how i killed the teg....o, then after i slowed doing about 55, he pulled beside me and shifted down a couple gears and like bucked, then pulled off the next exit....fool

Why were you shifting into 5th at 80? You should still be in 3rd till about 100-105.

Yeah - if you're shifting into fith at that speed, you're going to have some real problems with more evenly matched cars.

lol, if you shifted that soon, that means you weren't using the full potential of your car, and could have added a couple more car lengths on him if you shifted at the correct spots. Oh, and that smell was probably your clutch.

1200 lbs less? did he do 500 lbs worth of weight reduction? I think you are thinking of the VR-4s, VR-4s weigh just under 3800 lbs, SLs -3300lbs, base- 3100lbs, teggys - just under 2700 lbs

Hotshot8792, I'm looking at my recent smog check and it says that the weight on my '94 SL is like 3750. Hmm....wonder what's going on there!?!

smoggers are retarded

seriously though, go weigh your car so you can see, a lot of the SL Twin Turbos without really any weight reduction except for like flywheel and pulley, which is like a whole 15lbs, have weighed in at like 3200, so really, your car could weigh as low as 3200, well also, the 3300 lbs is with a full tank of gas (16 gallon + 2 or 3 gallon reserve, at 8 lbs a gallon) and with all your fluid levels on everything completely topped off.
