tranny for 65

What manual trannys were used in 65?

Also will a T5, T56, or Richmond work on a 327 bellhousing for that year?

Re: tranny for 65

BW T-10s were used behind the non-performance small blocks. The Muncie is a better choice. Chevy versions have the speedo gear on the right side (passenger's), while Pontiacs and Olds have it on the driver's side. Aside frm that, the Pontiac/Olds unit bolts right in.

The Richmond 5-speed WILL bolt up to the Chevy bellhousing. Can't say about the others.
