removing inner door panel 99 xlt

i have a 1999 explorer xlt, im trying to remove the inner door panel. I have removed the two screw above the handle. What else do i need to take the panel off? does the rest just snap out? i didnt want to risk pulling on it and breaking it. Thanks in advance,
Anthony

Re: removing inner door panel 99 xlt

If you are carefull you can pull the red cover in the bottom left corner of the door panel off with out breaking it (not required just makes it easier). Grab a medium sized flat head screw driver and just start slowly popping the white clips, you'll want to make sure your pushing on the clip and not the door panel or you might crack your panel, also don't just pull it will crack. Once you get the clips on the bottom and both sides slowly lift it up, but becarefull the lip that falls next to the window because it will catch the staples that hold the vinl on and if they come out they might scrach your glass. once it is off you'll have to have some one help you the section with the switches just slides out. You're mirror control just unclips.

note - in the top right where it kinda bumps up it seams like a clip but it just slides out when you pull up on the panel.

It's real simple just go slow and you won't have any trouble.
