my lt1 will work in the '82
i was just assured that my 350 lt1 and the 6 speed tranny will work in the 82 trans am. i dont need the guages or nothing from the 95 TA neither, im going to go ahead with the lt1. why do all of this work and not drop something fast down in it. its stock, but its got 305 hp stock.
i can add mods later. and i will find someone to buy the CFI.

We just got our LT1 into a 67 El Camino done. It's not that bad of a swap. Most of the time is spent with wiring, and what kind of fuel fump is used.
