How do you change dash kights on 95 rodeo

Hello,
(1995 rodeo V6)
I just have a few questions......

*) How do you change the dash light bulbs?
1) What is that little black box under the passager side seat?
2) Is there a dran plug on the 1995 rodeo automatic trans?
3) Would 93 octane benefit the truck?
4) What would be the best spark plugs to use?

Thumbs up

I think it took me about 45 minutes to replace the lamp near the fuel gauge.

On mine at least, you have to remove the trim surrounding the ashtray and instrument cluster, then I removed the panel directly below the steering wheel. Remove the 4 screws holding the instrument cluster and pull it away far enough to get your hand behind it. I didn't want to remove the wires attached to the cluster and there was barely enough room to remove the bad lamp. BTW, there is a green plastic cover on the light to give it a green glow, just roll it up and place it on the new lamp.
I used lamp #158, available from the auto parts store.

1). A small bomb.
2). No. Carefully remove the 13 bolts to drain the pan.
3). No, It will empty your wallet faster though.
4). NGK or ND plugs are best for your Rodeo. Don't use Bosch plugs, IMO.

Ok.

1). The box under the seat is the ABS computer, if so equipped.

The 1995.5 has a totally redesigned dash.

Sorry, I can't help you on this one.
