Re: car doors freeze shut in winter?

Try this! Coat the weather stripping with Armor All or STP son of a gun. This will keep them from freezing to the door jams. Also put a coat of it on the door jams, it won't hurt the paint. This should keep them from sticking shut when it is cold. If the locks are freezing use lithium grease on the mechanism before winter and buy a can of lock antifreeze for the occasions when the locks do freeze up. Hope this helps.

Re: car doors freeze shut in winter?

I use di-electric grease and it seems to work well, also it keeps my seals from drying out.
Haven't had trouble getting in car yet.
