Wink 1997 k1500 lowering kit

i have a 1997 chevy k1500 pickup i bougt a set of djm lowering hangers and shackles during my install today ive come to realize the hanger they sent me is a little smaller length wise than the location of the stock holes from the old hanger the shackles fit fine dropping the truck 2 inches but im missing out on the extra 2 inches the hangers can give me the only info ive found is a 4x4 drop kit by belltech which cost around 400$ it includes everything that i already have except the 4x4 hangers my question is can i or should i drill 2 holes into the frame to make the hanger fit 2 or the 4 holes fit fine im just wondering it this is going to effect anything down the road if anyone has any info that would be great thanks im advance tom

everyone asks this question im not dropping this truck to the ground its a little 3/4 drop just to fill the wheel wells the 4 wheel drive will still be used if anyone can help me with this situation that would be great thanks
