rb25det engine swap

can it be done in the 200sx. i kno it can in a 240 sx. but i want to kno if it will work in the 200. and how much will it cost total. installation and everything.

never been done for a couple of reasons the way the motor sits its ment to go RWD or AWD and puttin it a FWD will be near impossible.. but if u want to try it go head tell me how it turns out.. o if u wan ask this question at the www.sr20forum.com they should be able to help

If your talking about an OZ, NZ of Jap spec 200SX / Silvia, then YES, the RB25 motor fits, need an RB30 sump(from VL Commodore or R31 Skyline tho) and the gearbox / electronics can be a bitch but I have done it and had great results. RB25DET NEO from an R34 GT-T with S15 6 Speed manual with Twin plate clutch.... Drools at memory of 12sec quarter mile!
