Metal Shift Track?
I constantly see these metal shift tracks in place of the boots for manual transmissions in movies, and in higher end sports cars, but can I get one for my 99 ecplise spyder? How much and where? I've been going crazy asking everywhere and scouring e-bay....please help!!!

Re: Metal Shift Track?
They are usually called shift gates, and there are no vendors that I know of that sell them for our cars. You could attempt to make one though, so let us know if you succeed.

Re: Metal Shift Track?
i have never seen them for the Eclipse... it would definatly look nice but if you ever want to race it, i think it would majorly get in the way! i have driven a couple lamborguinis and ferraris and it seemed as if it would be a lot easier to drive without the track in there! they look clean tho!

Re: Metal Shift Track?
Someone was making a prototype on DSMTalk a year or two ago, but I haven't seen updates in a while.
