Van will not crank over. Has new starter and fully charged battery. Radio and other accesories work fine. What do I check next? I was told to check battery cables for corrosion but have none on battery. Battery light stays on in the dashboard panel.Please help.............

Just a thought. Try starting in neutral. May be the neutral safety switch.

You got the VATS key? With the chip. They can cause this problem. A dealer can check the key to see if it is defective. Or the brushes in the switch that contact the chip can be bad too. Rough up the metal contacts on the key, spray a little shot of WD-40 in the switch, and work the key around in there a little then try it.
