1997 CD error message E23

Hello, I'm a new member. I keep getting an error message that says E23 on my cd player. I went to look up the code and it said it is a communication error, and that I need to disconnect the battery from the player. How do I do that? Or is there another way to get rid of the code and start using my cd player again?

The easiest way would be to disconnect the battery for 5 or 10 minutes this should clear the codes from the player and reset it so you can use it. Disconnect the negative terminal since that is safest.

the only time I ever get an E23 on my CD player is when I accidentally or intentionally hold the CD from going in...once I take the CD out again and re-try the error code goes away...and the CD plays..try that...
if that doesnt work..well I guess ya gotta do the battery thing...
just a suggestion...
