5.4L Perfomance Question

I owna 98 Navigator with the 5.4L engine. I'm new getting back into the Ford scene and I am looking for a heads up for what performance options are out there. I have been told this motor is unsed in many other vehicles and parts are readily available. Any help would be appreciated.

First off this is a Mustang forum, not a Navigator forum. Not to sound like a dick, but the Navigator is not a performance vehicle, its a large, luxury SUV. Now yes, in general the 5.4 has a decent amount of bolt on performance parts, but nothing that will really "wake it up," besides a SC. I have a K&N filter in my F-150 w/ a 5.4L and I never really noticed a thing. I only bought cause it helps to free airflow over the restrictive OEM filters as well as helping to increase gas mileage.
