In-progress: Project slammed subie

Hello again everyone,
One day I decided to redo my first model ever, the tamiya subaru sti. Not going to do anything crazzy, just a simple front spoiler, sideskirts, and a drag dynamic spoiler. However, I wanted to build this car to look like a streetable track day kind of car hence the slammed suspension (coilovers in real life ). Anyways, here are some pics of the progress:

Just about how hard lowering a tamiya subaru? the front is easy but the back needs a lot of cutting, so I decided to glue the disc brake right on to the chasis. The results are as above, the only disadvantage is that the rear tires cannot be rotated which is fine for me since it will be stationary on my rack.

As far as color, it will be two tone, upper half will be black and lower half will probably be gun-metal since I still have plenty left from the ferrari. Hood will probably be carbon fiber

Edit: excuse the paint, I wet sand it to get rid of the silver paint, also the body kit is not done yet, still need to put basic putty and a lot of sanding.

Re: In-progress: Project slammed subie

Sounds cool, i'm not too sure about the 2-tone paintjob though... it will be nice to see it in primer because now it looks wierd with the 90% sanded body. brake fluid would have been a LOT easier to get rid of the silver paint no ?

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
snakekans - two tone paint job was only preliminary, I thought it would be cool since some drift cars have two tone paint job and chopped roof (although subarus are not exactly drift car). As for the brake fluid, I might try next time, I was afraid it might break the plastic.
I have an update soon, but I think I will prime it first so you can see a more realistic look

a little update, added a side brake duct (big one on each side - kind of like gramlights bodykit for WRX) and a flat plate underneath each sideskirts.

regarding the putty, I got an epoxy putty from a local hobby shop and its non brand. I also used tamiya basic putty to smooth off the surface, works like a charm I guess I'm lucky this time, everything is so smooth including the scratch build bodykit.

Re: In-progress: Project slammed subie

the front bumper looks a little rough, but it might just be the picture. excellent work so far! i like the idea of a 2-tone color scheme.
