Re: More Power?

I'd replace the u-bend with a straight pipe + O2 bung hole. I've done that and have noticed that not only does it makes a nicer exhaust note, it also helps the torque a bit.

Re: More Power?

Note: Some of the following are my own assumptions, and may not prove to be correct, but they make sense to me. ;-)

The GTP has the supercharger cramming more mixture down the throttle body and into the engine than the normally aspirated GT. The stock GTP exhaust system has to be able to vent out the higher volume. But I'll wager that the stock exhaust system is the same, for the most part, on both cars. Therefore, I believe that the exhaust is not an immediate performance restriction for the GT.

Check out Zoomer's page: http://www.zzperformance.com/zzp/info/how_to_begin_mods_gtp.htm

Re: More Power?

Eohrn-
hes not modding a gt, hes modding an se, might not even have the same engine as the gt, they come with the 3100 or the 3800, 93_R/T_TT_Stealth, do you know which engine shes got in hers? (3100 or 3800) pretty big diff as far as what you can do to it.
