lancer parts in laser rs
can the lifters and valve springs fit out of an evo fit up to a 90 plymouth laser rs turbo? i have a tick in my dsm and i read on this forum and dsmtuners that dsm's are known for bad lifters. and how much would the parts run

yo pimp just get new oil squirters and the ticking will be gone btw
lancer engines are the same as the one you got in your car being that it is a 4g63t |

Lifter tick is a common problem for a lot of 4G63's, which is not curable by any means except acts of God and revised lifters. If the problem is bad... that's what you need to do. If you don't want to take my word for it, just search here and DSMtuners.com especially, and you will find the same answer. About the EVO parts, the Evolution may use the same block, but don't think for one second that all of the internals are the same. I'd be willing to guess that most years of EVO have different valvetrain components. FYI, not all years of EVO have the same parts... so keep that in mind. We only use EVO 3 turbos, and most parts from any year are not usable/swapable. |
