Question CAI to short stack

If I get a CAI and there is bad weather out, is there anyway I can remove the second piece of the piping and move the filter to inside the engine bay?

of course not that hard, just take the filter off, take the piping off and attach the filter to the bracket that the air temp sensor attaches to.

yup they make it both for high and low port. its ok if you dont have the air temp sensor, you can still attach it to the bracket.
