Re: Cani swap a Nissan Sr20det motor into a 1995 Honda Civic?

yeah, thers the RB25DET, and then the RB26DETT, theres even a RB24DET I think.

and whats the G in there, ive never seen a code with a G in it before. but id go B16, its the easiest and not much more than the H22 for the engine/etc...

The G stands for Generation one or two OBD 1 OBD 2

There is an sr20 from the Nissan Bluebird (JDM Altima) that's fwd, but I'm sure it would still take lots and lots of fabrication. Just go with a b-series.

Re: Cani swap a Nissan Sr20det motor into a 1995 Honda Civic?

so you made up that g shit then, never seen it stamped on a block at all. what country are you in.
I have an OBD0, a OBD1, and a OBD2 engine in my driveway right now and none say a G anywhere, and one is USDM and other 2 are JDM.

cuz I know that the OBD changes to a newer version every few years +/- or so, but...
