The Village: Movie Review

ok folks, i just spent the last 40hrs of my life without sleep, so i saw a few movies, hit up the bars, chilled on the beach for a sunrise, etc. anyway onto the review.

This film was utter and complete trash. The ridiculous story is about a village set in the 1800's, who are surronded by these creatures who hunt and kill anything, that bears the color red. However, the film never describes what these creatures are, or why they are attacking until the last 2min of the film. The worst acting in history is displayed here, in M. Night Shaymalan's 3rd bomb in a row(unbreakable, signs). Terrible story, horrible character development, and just a cheap use of scare tactics make this real close to the worst film in history.

Stay away from this one folks

0 stars out of 4. Rated PG-13 For scenes of violence, and brief language.

Approx. 2hrs 0min

Re: The Village: Movie Review

I thought the movie was a dissapointment from what I expected but I did like hte movie. I thought the acting and movie qulities were good, but they needed to work the twist a little better. If they would have fixed hte end I think many people would have liked it alot better. As far as the worst movie of all time I definately beg to differ. What I've noticed with most people is those who are expecting a scary movie or what they see in the previews will hate it, but those who appreciate its cinematic qualities and whatnot will like it.

Re: The Village: Movie Review

I didn't think it was THAT bad i thought some of the acting was pretty good and the monsters did look hella badass in that one sceen. But its a movie you can never see again thats a huge downer on anyfilm this wasn't anywhere as bad as signs or unbreakable

Re: The Village: Movie Review

And even though so many people hated it...I guarantee you he is making tons of money right now, lol. In its first week it grossed like 52 million dollars.

Also crxlvr, you should do a movie review for 'Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle". I would type up a review but 1) I'm not the official AF movie reviewer and 2) I probably couldn't explain what im trying to say about the movie, lol.
