95 Eclipse Gs-T vs. 94 Acura Integra Ls STREET RACE

Sup guys,

Another race for my friend. We were at Montclair kicking it with friends, we got bored so we decided to go to Ontario to see if any people were going to go racing. But we got tired of looking so we just decided to go back to Montclair. We kicked it a while talked. So it was 11-36 when we started going home. We got of and exit on the 10 freeway.

An a 94 Acura Integra, ( don’t know the year ) got next to us. He started revving so my friend didn’t want to race. My friend has a 95 Eclipse Gs-T. With Exuast and has a Blitz body kit, everything else is stock. The Acura was also stock it was just drop, and rims. So we turned an the guy just took of thinking we were gonna race. So we stop at a light and my friend was like should we go for it I was like embarrassed him cause his gf was there with him. So my friend Revs the engine light turns green in second gear my friend got him by a car and by 4gear we had like about 3-6 cars on him. We stop at a light he gets behind us. And we just took off and the guy didn’t want a rematch. So we were under a bridged d my friend accelerated and it was the first time we heard the BOV. For some reason Stock BOV don’t make the sound. Man I love that sound. So he’s gonna get a BOV and a HKS or AEM intake by end of this month. So yup it was a fun Sunday night. so far my friend has raced 9 times and lost 1 race. he has a good record so far but it will change as soon as i get my mustang running.

not to get your hopes down either but your 5.0 might not end his streak i wouldnt doubt seeing him beat you. my friends civic ate a 5.0 by about 5 cars with ls motor turbo charged running less than 7 psi

His 5.0 could certainly end his streak very easily, stock gst's arent very fast at all.

they run high 14's/low 15's stock so it'd be a decent stock vs stock race. its a good match up overall, considering both take VERY well to simple mod's...bah...who cares.

most people cant drive their car very well at all. That's why I suggest people take it to the track it helps driving skill ALOT.

You should deff beat your friend if he's auto. I have driven an auto gst and wow....it was quite slow boost picked up very slow.
