Question HELP with 2000 Astro electric door locks

The door locks on my astro dont always fully activate?
As I try them repeatidly they seem to jiggle up and down but not with full travel. after a few more trys they seem weaker and travel less and the clicking gets weaker and weaker. It is mostly the front doors that have the problem.
I have lubricated the mechinisms and it did not help. I have also tried unpluging all but one and still it does not help.
So it is not the switch or a binding mechanical mechanism!
Does anyone have the schematic diagram?

Any help is appreciated thank you Papa.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE THE DOOR LOCK MODULE AND THE RELAY ARE LOCATED?

Re: 2000 Astro electric door locks

Hello Papa..
On your door locks, this is a very common problem with this vehicle and normally happens to the front two doors first (driver and passenger)...what happens is the door lock solenoids are bad, they get weak and will no longer function and MUST be replaced...we get ours from a local, they are Swedish made with a 12 to 16 pound pull and are the highest quality we have ever seen or used...be carefull with the cheap stuff on most web sites or places like Ebay. These are cream colored not the cheap black models made in Mexico or China. the guys email is: [email protected] and they run about 50 bucks each, but well worth the money as they will last forever!
