help with painting technique
i was just wondering how i could achieve this kind of weathered look?
![]() airbrush? (btw i dont have an airbrush) blackwash? charcoal? also, how would u go about creating a black outline around the headlights like this? im thinking maybe i could just mask it off and paint the sides? is there an easier way perhaps? ![]() thanks! |

well if you would read the wonderfull Thread of Kunta (this is his car btw) you would know it's blackwash. Some asked how to do blackwash last week so try a search
Edit: I did a search for you: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...ight=blackwash as for the light, just use a black marker and use it on the side of the clear part, It will do the trick

thanks for the reply and search. and yes i DID search, but of course i havent been around so i wouldnt know who kunta is nor would i know what technique he used. i didnt ask how to do blackwash, i just wanted to know what technique was used. as for the headlights, thanks for the tip, i'll try that out
