Hi I'm new to modding cars and I just had a question on the years for parts. The car I own is an 87 Celica GT and the parts I have been looking for were an exhaust and intake. I searched around but only found parts with years (90-up) next to them. Does the year matter and will they fit my car regardless? Thanks!

Re: Question on mods?
Alot of muffler shopt will custom bend pipes for the exhaust. They may give you a break on price if you buy the muffler from them.
You can get some really nice performance mufflers from them if you know what to look for. Do some research and find stock mufflers that flow real good. Low flow resistance is the key to hp. Don't get flashy mufflers that look good, but don't flow well. Go with a muffler that does it's job, no matter what it looks like. You can always paint it with heat-resisitant paint to match your body color if you can see it from above. |
