1997 will not start no lights on dash

I have a 1997 Blazer LT. Yesterday it just quit at an idle then when I tried to Restart it no dash lights when the key was turned over. It will crank but no fire. I kept trying until the lights on the dash came on then it started fine?? but now no lights again.

where do i start some sort of relay maybe??

Replace the ignition switch.
The switch has a contact going bad causing your concern
