Re: 1995 Nissan Altima GXE Vs. 1996 Honda Accord Lx

the altima weighs 2820lbs has 155 hp and 150 ft-lbs. tq.
the accord weighs 2850lbs has 130 hp and 139 ft- lbs of tq.

the honda would probably be easier to mod but you could swap a FWD sr20det into the altima and have your self a nissan bluebird. you could also put an h22 prelude engine in the honda though. either car is a pretty good car. I prefer the altima.

Get the Altima. The Altimas from that time period were very good cars and sold very well for a reason.

i would also go for the altima. both are easy to tune, but the altima has a little bit more power. plus, it's a nissan, can't go wrong with that.

Get the Accord, the Nissan Altima of that time period, I am pretty sure, was little other than a Nissan Bluebird. The Bluebird was (and is) a crude, ugly little car with not a hell of a lot going for it in any department.

The Accord however is an advanced car which I have many fond memories of punting my dads old one around (1995 EXi-S manual), they are also pretty comfortable and a good looking car (In that shape)

lol. get the altima. it has the same engine as the 240sx. FWD, but still im sure they can be brought up with a turbo and all. a accord? naw! just like a civic, they are evrywhere. i give you my word youll like a nissan. i dont own a nissan anymore, but its all about those memories.

Re: 1995 Nissan Altima GXE Vs. 1996 Honda Accord Lx

95 Altimas do not look like bluebirds, they look like condenced 01 Concords, they have a clean, concervative looks. Accords have a clean boxy look of that time period, Most definatly go w/ the Altima, the 3.5 V6 is the perfect combo between reliable and power. Accord Lx's have one of the shitiest 4 banger engines out there and theres to many of them. Plus, I'd be really glad to see someone soup up an Altima. Maximas are the dominate 4-door Nissan tough.

those 95 altima's don't have v6's. they run with the ka24. it's a fwd 240sx engine. and they're pretty much the exact same body as a jdm Bluebird
