93 light problems NEED HELP BAD!!!
I installed a new CD player in my continental, and i knew something bad would happen but i was not expecting this. For some reason my interior lights will not turn off. When i shut the door/lock it they only get slightly dimmer. The only way i can turn them off is to take the fuse out of the underdash box. If anyone can help my i would be very greatful. Thankyou guys soooooo much!

Re: 93 light problems NEED HELP BAD!!!
Sounds like you put a screw through, or pinched a wire to that system.
If you put speakers in the doors, that would be a good place to begin re-working the installation.

gettin somewhere
well i i havnt touched the door panels yet, so i think the problem is either in the relay or the wiring to the stereo. There is one wire i never quite figured a purpose for. If anyone has ever had the stereo out on one of these cars what does the plain black wire do? Is it another ground? Im stumped. Also there are 2 wires that i think are ignition wires ans i dont know where they are supossed to tie into the system. Any help would be greatly appriciated, thanks again
