Unhappy I suppose I could only turn right!!

Hi, just new to this site and printed out some helpful info on a locked tailgate on my van from hell (96 Grand Caravan SE). Hopefully this will gain me access to the back of the vehicle (I'm getting tired of climbing over the back seat!) My question is in regards to my left turn signal not working. Some days it will, other days it won't. Then it will work for two or three days or minutes and then not work for maybe a day or maybe a week. Right one works fine. Sometimes if I turn on the headlites the signal will work other times it won't. This is just one of countless problems we've had with this vehicle (our first and last Chrysler product) but if anyone can help with this it would be great. Getting any little thing to work properly on this vehicle is reason for celebration. Thanks!!

If I remember correctly the headlight switch and the turn signal are on the same stalk. I believe the switch inside the steering column is going bad or has already gone south. Take the van to a dealer or other qualified shop and have the stalk and turn signal switch replaced. I would not advise doing this yourself as the air bag must be removed in order to get to the switch to replace it.
