1997 Mercury Sable
I have a 1997 Mercury Sable that will not go into gear everytime I turn my car on. My break light on the window blinks out everytime I put my feet on the breaks. The dealer replace a switch or sensor when the back breaklight was not coming on. What is going on now? HELP!! i DON'T HAVE THE MONEY
 TO TRY TO REPAIR a used car.

did they repalce the harness that hooks to the switch as well - these wires are very prone to breaking and only making contact at certain pedal position
