New to bmws

This is my first post here, but anyway. I just bought a 1997 bmw 328iS 2 door coupe, black. This is my first bmw and I just wanted to know some of the specs on it, and if anyone else here owns the same year and model? I wont have the car for another day or two and I can't wait to see how the car handles and performs compaired to my old 1993 integra. Any thoughts, comments, and opinions are welcome. We are new, too. I have driven Volvo's for years. We learned the hard way how to jump the battery this morning. In the dark. With two screaming kids in the backseat. Now need to reset the dash? Any info w/b appreciated!
