installing SVT cluster in ZX3 ford focus

i have focus zx3 (year 2003) and i purchased titaunium colored svt cluster. the problem is that i can't illuminate the cluster except for the red needles that illuminates. this type of cluster has fluorescentic illumination not like regular focus. it has also grey plug with 2 pins not like other regular focus.
where should I connect the grey 2 pins plug to ? should I take out power from the a needle bulb ?
