Ls/vtec Help

Hello,
Yes, im very knew to the world of tuning and im wondering a few things. I have a 1991 acura integra LS with: header, hi flow cat, exhaust, ecu, short shifter and cold air intake system. My engine only had 32,826 on it due to the fact that water splashed into my intake and got sucked up all into the motor. I really don't want to buy a new block and everything. So what are they things i need to build my ls/vtec and would most machine shops ( engine building places ) attemp it for me. and would it be cheaper than just throwing a 1993 gs-r engine into it. They are about 3000 dollars due to the fact that there were very few of those year cars manufactured.

i would appreciate it if you would do a list of what i need and good brands to get for my 91 integra ls motor. And does anyone know the hp i would push out in an ls/vtec motor. And does anyone know how many rpms the vtec kicks in and when i should shift in an ls/vtec.
