paint job?

i have a 2001 maroon grand am and my dog recently job and the hood and scratched the hood. is there any over the counter product that i can apply to it and fix it up?

depends how deep the scratches are

might wanna try a rubbing compound. It kind of scuffs the paint if youre not careful but it does take out scratches...as long as the scratches arent through the primer. Dont apply too much in one spot.

try the turtle wax "color cure" wax. it has a stick that covers scratches fairly well, I used it on my black paint and it looks pretty good
