engine size and name

I have an 88 Camry V6. What is the name of this engine? Apparently the no. 2 and 6 cyl. have nearly zero compression and I'm looking into replacing the engine with a used engine from Japan.

Please help with any advice. I've done this once before and replaced the 2,5 L with a 2.0 litter.

The 2.5L V6 in a '88 Camry LE is the 2VZFE.
