1997 Passat GLX VR6 Woflsburg Window Motors

the left rear window in my 97' Passat GLX Vr6 Wolfsburg Edition does not roll down. When button is pushed there is a wizzing noise but no motion. The motor/regulator assembly has power flowing to it, i tried moving the solenoid but the motor still doesn't move. i've changed the motor assemply out with 2 other motor assemblys, all with no success. they all act exactly the same as the first one. does anyone have any ideas or knowledge about this problem?

I just answered it in another thread, but here I go again:

The problem is the wire that gives power to the regulator.

The wire that passes in the door jam is probably broken or in bad shape.

Remove the rubber protective thing on top of the wires and fix the wire and you'll be ready to roll up and down all day!!!!
