I have a 2000 Ranger XLT, 3.0ltr, v-6...I want to look at putting a new performance chip in if it's possible. Does anyone know around how much $$ it will run, and how difficult would it be to replace?....Thanks in advance.

Re: Chip
go to www.bamachips.com and send them an email asking anything you want to know. you will get a reply within a day or two. this company hasnt been around long, and it was started when Apten started ignoring Rangers. But it is growing fast. the owner is a ranger owner and tuner and is the most recomended dealer of Ranger chips. He pretty much knows everything about youre truck's ECU off the top of his head. most other companies will make you wait a year becasue rangers arent exactly what they consider hotrods, but bamachips specializes in Rangers.
