idler arm

my 03 denali, the idler arm has a LOT of play in it.

On my other GM vechiles, the idler arms have a fair amount of play that GM considers normal. Moog seems to have a better design.

Is the Denali the same when it comes to idler arms?
is it time for moog, or should I talk to the dealer?

I can move the passenger tire at least 1" from side to side.

Re: idler arm

if you are still under warranty let the dealer do it if not im not sure if moog has a better design on new model gmc idler arm but they used to on carryover models the dealer will charge aprox $375.00 to perform this repair 2.0 hrs @ $80.00 hr and the part is aprox $200
