Hatch Difference?

I jux wanna ask if there is any difference, big or small. between a 1996-1998 Civic Hatch and a 1999-2000 Hatch... (do they even make 2000 hatches?) I wanna get one, but I don't kno which model is better. or is it just the front bumper thats different? thanks.

There were no 1999-2000 hatches I believe.

yup they made them in 99-00. The changes are purly physical I believe. Just slightly different front end and tail lights. Either way the CX is the base model and the DX is the next step up and that's all there were for HB's for those years

Anyways, the 99-00 hatches have different tail lights, different sized gas tanks, a different center console, and the whole front where the fenders, bumper, hood and headlights are slightly different:

Look at the bumpers. Also, on 96-08 they had amber rear turn signals, whereas the 99-00 had clear.

is the FB the only real difference with the front end? Because, they sell body kits for 96-98 and 99-00 seperately. Like they're totally different cars.

The front bumper, headlights, fenders, hood, and grill are all different by millimeters, but just enough so they won't fit onto eachother. Those parts will bolt to the other chassis, but not fit with the other model parts unless you swap all of them.
