If anyone could give us a run down on what's involved in a stock 5.7 L. to a stock 7.4 L. converstion it would be greatly appreciated.
1) aside from the motor do the torrsion bars need to be upgraded? 2) what in the fuel delivery system needs change? 3) can we change just the computer chip or does the whole computer and wiring system need change? any other comments is well appreciated thanks to all |

I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but why do you want to swap the engines? Are you aware that the 7.4 in a suburban gets about 12-15mpg at best. Unless your going to be towing, you might be better off with the 5.7L
Best of luck with your conversion.
