Need Help Adjusting MT2
Need help adjusting my mt2.
I have a few problems I don't know how to deal with I'll try to list them now 1) When I put it full throttle the car starts turning by itself? 2) How do I adjust it so the car stays still when on neutral? Can't seem to get it to stay still I have been trying to adjust it for awhile. 3) How do I get it so when I hold brake there's a lot of braking force but doesn't stall? Example. I adjust it so the carb is open about 1mm when on neutral but when I push the brakes it closes? That's all I have for now. |

What about if the lawnmower doesn't start? Can you fix the problem. If both of those question's you awnsered with a no, Then you should have got a electric. Because the motor's are just about the same.

Hey, I respect that you suggested to get an electric for my first car but it was a good offer.. $300 CND for a MT2 with spare parts, 12 AA recharables 2100mAh, Rotostarter 7.2V included 1500 mAh, new air filter, 1 gallon of gas and glow plug igniter + charger. For $300. Tell me if it's worth it.

Now how hard was that? You may not have intended to be rude, but that's how it came out. As for the electric thing, if a new person to the hobby can't fix one, they probably can't fix the other. If people didn't buy things because they couldn't fix them, no one would buy half the things they do. Hell, why buy a real car? I can fix most things on a car, but tranny and electrical work? Not a chance. Does that mean I should not have one...no. Hell, 70% of the people who buy real cars are clueless on how to fix them. But at least with R/C cars, one can usually get help learning how to tune and fix these things by doing a bit of research, buying books, asking questions on helpful forums... For first timers that want Nitro cars, I usually suggest getting a kit over a ready to run. Not as cheap for what you get, but if something breaks, you built it and are a bit more confidant at fixing it. Also, somethimes the instructions in a kit are a bit more detailed. /rant

Re: Need Help Adjusting MT2
BUY what you want you need to learn sooner are latter How to fix them yourself so anyone telling you different is wrong
however I have a electric car for my first car and I have ran into a small prob with the stearing. I could have bought a gas power car for a extra 100 dollars but I thought that 450.00cdn was to much for a r/c car so my advice to you do what ever the hell you want
