Exterior/interior modification questions
I have a 4dr 91civic dx and i wanna do some mods to the look of this thing... firs off i have been wondering where i can get side skirts and a rear bumper to fit this thing... i know there has to be some out there somewhere i just cant find them... will a pair of skirts from another model fit on my car?? if so which? im also interested in putting in a sunroof... anyone ever done this on a dx? i went to a junkyard and they priced me a sunroof from an si for 25 dollars... im thinking i might go for it if its possible. any ideas?

im also thinking about getting as carbon fiber hood for this little red devil.... the exterior is completely stock right now... ill try and get some pics done... im thinking of getting it painted in a flat black.. anyone know how much this might cost or if i can do it myself? i think i might be able to get my hands on a sprayer... i also need some tips for shaving the lines and emblems off this thing.... anyone ever done a door handle shave on a 88-91 civic or crx?? i think that could be interesting... anyways i have big plans for my reliacble little cruiser.

Re: Exterior/interior modification questions
if u want flat black just go to the store and get a bunch of cans of flat black spray paint (from auto zone or someother auto store) and tape off the whole thing and just start sprayin. If uve never painted before ask someone to show u the best way so u dont get drips or anything. Its not really hard once you know how, and its fun.

Re: Exterior/interior modification questions
oh yeah and for the emblems use a razor blade/scraper to lift the emblem and cut away the stuff underneath and to take off the emblems, then sand down the paint on it and use bondo to fill in the holes and make sure you fill it in good so it wont fall out or crack. Once its dry, sand down the bondo so that its smooth and prime and paint the area. Its easy and its the first sorta "body work" i did to my car.

Re: Exterior/interior modification questions
Why don't you get rid of the ugly black panel in the middle of the taillights and get an LX or EX one. THere red and the seem to make the backend look a hellofalot better!
