How accurate are your preconceptions of other forum members?
Have you ever been a member of a forum and been fortunate enough to meet one of your long-standing forum friends face to face?If so,did the real person that you met tally with all of your expectations as created by their forum persona?
The more I talk to people at AF, the more I realise just how much I take for granted....

Well....expectations....personality was a bit different to what I expected. They were more confident online than face to face. I've meet some people from another site based around here. They all seem cool, we went and raced afterwards.

I have met people form on here before but that doesn't count as I knew most of them before that.
I have met people on the SDU forums before and then in person and have been 50/50 with my preconceptions.

It was slightly different for me. I was still pretty new to the SDU forums when I met people from there. so I didn't really have preconceptions about what everyone would be like.
I wouldn't mind meeting some of the kiwi contingent of AF. I think it would be quite good to finally meet people you've joked around with.
