88 Corolla FX grinding noise when in drive
I was driving on the freeway the other day and my car sounded like it took a crap and made some weird noises then would make a clicking nosie when i would accelerate, so I pulled over. After I pulled over and tried to put the car in drive it makes a grinding noise. The AAA guy said it's the axle hooked up to the transmission, but I don't know. BTW it's a automatic. Is it the cv axle, the transmission, or something else? Any help is much appreciated.
