a/C VACCUUM LOCATION OR DRAWING

I know there are a few other posts about this but no real answers. I am having the same 'only blowing out the defrost' issues. I have heard the hteory about it being vaccuums and all but I dont know where to look for it. I would like to find a drawing or picture of where to look. Any help would be appreciated.


My cruise control and a/c directional controls both stopped working after my wife and I stopped at long john silvers one HOT day. We came out and I turned over the ignition and heard a slight pop and then there was a small tuft of smoke come out from under the hood on the passenger side near the windshield. Since then the cruise control and a/c directional controls havent worked. I checked all fuses and stuff but havent gotten into the heavy electrical stuff yet. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
