Re: steering woes!
tie rods (inner and outter, both sides) = around $150
Ball joints (upper and lower) = around $200 Wheel bearings= around $20 a couple hours to replace. No aftermarket to improve, nothing to improve really. new axels wont help any.

Re: steering woes!
you can do it all except the ball joints, they are pressed in (I'm assuming you dont have a press). You could take your control arm to a shop and they would press it in for probably less than 10 bucks for both. tie rods are simple, As are wheel bearings. Yeah now would be a great time to invest in a camber kit sence it will all be tore apart down there anyways. Enguls is a good kit, I think it replaces the top ball joint, not 100% on that though. Shure you could look at there website and see (or wait a few minutes and someone else might know.

You can remove the pressed ball joints. Hammer + torch = easy. Took me about 10 minutes after I got the UCA off. Even did the first one without a torch. After I got it aligned, it has worked perfectly.
