SAFC-II Mount

Can everyone tell me where they mounted their SAFC-II. I haven't been able to find anyone that sells bezels and I really don't want to screw it to my dash I was wondering what everyone else had done or if you could point me in the direction of a company that sells mounts. I can only find radio/vent mounts for a 1g. Nothing for a 2g. This one is cool but I don't want to spend $160 on it (there are much better mods for $160 than a bezel

Thanks!!!

Re: SAFC-II Mount

If you want to give it a try you can make your own. It is rather simple and you do not have to be really skilled with fiberglass or bondo.

Re: SAFC-II Mount

in the RST i made a flip style holder from the center vents... cut the vents up a little and glued them to a piece of balsa wood and put a dowel pin thru both so it pivots... mounted the S-AFCII on the other side balsa wood, opposite from the vents so it is hidden, push on the bottom of the vents and it flips around so you can see the S-AFCII, push on the top of the S-AFCII and it flips back around to the vents! great sleeper mod
