99 camry check engine light

My check engine light came on last year, I replaced the fuel cap and it went off. It has recently come back on and I do notice that the car has lost a little bit of power. Could it be just another gas cap?

Re: 99 camry check engine light

I don't know if that would have anything to do with it...but I do know that you would be better off taking it to Autozone or somewhere that will let you use a scan tool to read the error codes off the ECM. This way you will know exactly what's wrong with it rather than guessing and replacing a whole slew of stuff. You'll save yourself a lot of money that way.
